Ash rules...but Freddy has just as many great lines and Jason is just a fucking powerhouse. So I really can't say if Ash would indeed win.
Alright...who am I kidding? Ash will rape the both of them with his chainsaw. -

Wed, June 2, 2004 - 8:30 PMI would need a new pair of pants if I saw this trailer show up in the theaters. I don't care what people say about FvsJ, any true fan I think appreciates what they did with the movie and holding true to so many tenets of the films and styles. Adding Ash in there would be incredible. I'd like to see no one win much like in F vs J. Just a kick ass movie where all are given their due respect.
the only problem is that i think they'd be hard pressed to get Bruce to do the movie. Bruce is gettin' a little old to be taking the beating that he took in the Trilogy playing Ash and that makes Ash Ash. he also doesn't have the luxury that Robert Englund has of lots of make-up to cover up his ageing. -

August 20, 2003 - The idea may be floating around, but Bruce Campbell says he hasn't heard of any plans for a crossover between his cult character Ash from the Evil Dead films and horror villains Freddy and Jason.
The success of last weekend's Freddy Vs. Jason opener makes a sequel a good bet, but it sounds like Ash will be left out. A reader at Dark Horizons was able to speak to Campbell, who denied the rumor. "If you believe that, I've got some ocean front property outside of Phoenix you might be interested in," said the actor.
